If you haven't been on Ellen's website for David McCallum, links to new articles have been added. There's a great wallpaper of a gentleman drawing an incredibly life-like portrait of Mr. Kuryakin, and my Illya and Napoleon wallpaper with the January calendar is there, too.
On the Yahoo group "Channel D", there has been a discussion of recycled scripts, which ties in to our topic suggested by British cousin, Sharon.
How many Illya-isms or UNCLE-isms have you seen incorporated into "NCIS"?
The obvious connections I've noticed:
(1) for the funerals of Kate Todd and Chris Pacci, Ducky wore a very Illya-ish black suit, white shirt and black necktie [I wish he would dress like that again!];
(2) when Abby's tried to make a CGI of a suspect, the results looked Illya-ish;
(3) Kate's asking Gibbs what Ducky looked like when he was younger;
(4) Mr. Palmer's barber-shop quartet being called "The PB&J's";
(5) Rene Benoit giving Ducky, as Charles Harrow, a bottle of "Napoleon" brandy;
(6) Ducky's going undercover; and
(7) Abby's telling Ducky, "... you're 'The Man' ...".
I haven't listed all the U.N.C.L.E.-ish things, and there are also some obscure McCallum things (like the photo of David, the dad, and David, the son, in the Mallard house). I can think of at least five more (including things done by McGee, DiNozzo or Gibbs).
How many other parallels have you noticed, cousins?

To me the biggest connection is that they always refer to Ducky as the UNCLE figure, never the grandfather figure.
Even Mr. McCallum has called Ducky avuncular in interviews.

Hi
Iv noticed Ducky wearing a maroon coloured velvet evening jacket for holiday occasions. Once for thanksgiving and the other for the Christmas holiday - an obvious overture to Illya
I love the way Tony wears his combination of black trousers, white shirt and shoulder holster a la Illya
The like/hate relationship between Tony and Mcgee a la Napoleon/Illya
Yep, Tony has pulled a couple of Illya-isms. I've noticed Tony's suit and holster, too! Also,
Tony's wearing the turtleneck and geek glasses in "Undercovers".
There's the dog connection, too. There was the episode when the German Shepherds were attacking people. Abby's being able to control the dog brought to NCIS HQ reminded me of the lady at UNCLE HQ who wasn't afraid of Baldwin's Great Dane.
McGee shares the fear of big dogs, too. In s recent episode both Tony and McGee were running from a German Shepherd (the guys were sneaking around a car impound).
I also thought about the episode from "Invisible Man" when they were trying to track Danny with a German Shepherd. After being chased all over Klae Corp., Danny climbed up a flag pole. I hope it wasn't a cold day!
I remembered another parallel today.
In VR5, Sydney believed that her father, Dr. Joseph Bloom (played by DM), and her sister were drowned when their car when off the road.
After Sydney finds her way into the world of "virtual reality", she locates her sister, Samantha, who is alive. Together, Sydney and Samantha go into "virtual reality" and share Sydney's memory of the accident. Sydney learns that her memory was a "false" reality.
There was a similar scene in one episode of NCIS when Gibbs and one of Kelley's friends are nearly drowned when the car he is driving goes off the road. The scene of the car underwater is similar to Sydney's memory of the accident.
I have another Illya parallel! Ducky's demonstrating a "sleeper hold" for Tobias Fornell!
