Favorites Friday - MFU

Wow!  What an awesome day!  Our Cousin 'Lusha came to see me, and we had a blast chatting about MFU and the guys.

The only part of today that wasn't particularly awesome was dealing with the OPM again.  Still no insurance - we are in "interim" status, so nothing becomes fully effective until 2/1.  Yeah, but what if you have a major emergency?!!

Anyway, OPM made me think of bureaucrats, which made me think of megalomaniacs, which made me think of villains.

Cousins, let's talk about favorite villains - MFU villians, or David as a villain, or Robert as a villain.  As always, it's an open forum.

My favorite villains or antagonists who opposed Solo and Illya include Capt. Shark (not an evildoer at heart), Brother Love, Vincent Price's Victor Marton (from "Foxes and Hounds"), Theo Marcuse's Arthur Rollo ("Minus-X"), Jordin the most efficient Thrush ("Bridge of Lions"), and Harry Beldon ("Summit-Five").

Beyond MfU, there's Vaughn's role as the billionaire who wants to destroy Superman in the third Christopher Reeves film -- his character looks like he's having so much fun tearing down the Man of Steel!

And in a sidebar, the martinet bureaucrat who is determined to mold the newly "born" Mr. Soames into a productive citizen no matter what is a true antagonist for Vaughn's compassionate surgeon in "The Mind of Mr. Soames."

I've not seen "The Mind of Mr. Soames", but I've heard it was excellent.

I agree with you on the villains. I'll add the sadistic Miss Diketon, who got a little too much excitement from doing her job!
